#1: Patience & Try Again

The main reason for the “Unable to Check for Update – An error occurred while checking for a software update”, sometimes the device couldn’t connect to the Apple software update server.

To solve this error, you must wait for 10-15 minutes, and then try again. Go to Settings > General > Software Update. you will see the available update if you don’t find the update or see the “Unable to check for update” error message. You must need to keep a little patience.
